Headingly Trasnport Festival has been going since 1976, so I decided to visit the event for the first time, as I had heard that they have a pretty good showing of classic cars most years.
The day was scorching hot, but I managed to get around the main classic car area of the show-ground.
The classic cars numbered at least 50-60 and I spent a couple of hours taking plenty of shots with my Sigma DP2 Merrill compact camera.
After getting back home, I initially completed a Foveon RAW conversion to TIFF, then a black and white conversion in Lightroom.
I think most of the images came out pretty well, considering the extreme lighting.
